The mid-term break has passed by all too quickly, and now it is time to get the library in the mood for the winter months. Apart from using walls, windows, boxes and the usual signage stands, have you ever considered using the floor as well?
We have a carpeted floor, so velcro dots are a must to secure the images to the floor. They seem to work quite well, especially when the images are laminated. Making the letters as large as possible (35cm in this case) helps create a great impact.
The end of term has brought about another library week for us - this year's theme being 'Heroic Women'.
To help create a strong message for the school, the library has been decorated, with out main image being a dramatic and powerful woman in the library.
Created with waste paper, glue, paint and swathes of smart-fab, she has created quite a bit of buzz and comment.
