Various media outlets and public opinion is running hot these days debating the epidemic proportions of our single-use plastic bags. To help give our students a viewpoint from both sides, we decided on double-sided display discussing the pro's and con's of singe-use plastic bags versus cloth bags.
In our display, we used the large-format posters printed onto a few sheets of A3 paper, created QR codes to link student directly to useful sites discussing both single-use plastic bag pollution as well as pollution-processes involved in creating more durable bags. We added books from our collection, as well as pattern with instructions on how students and staff could make their own reusable shopping bags.
It worked well for us, how about you?
